
Coconut Palm Sugar:
-Unlike Every other processed sugar (white or brown), artificial sweeteners (aspartame, Sucralose) Coconut Palm sugar is high in Potassium, Zinc, Magnesium, and Iron and is a natural source of the vitamins B1, B2, B3, B6 and C.
-It Naturally has a low score on the Glycemic Index, (GI 35) where as …Honey is GI-55. Agave is GI- 42, and regular sugar is GI-68.
-Naturally Low in calories, 15 per tsp.
-It tastes nothing like coconut, just sweet.
Personally, I’ve been using this in baking, and its awesome! obviously only eat it in moderation, but id rather have it than sugar! or cancer causing aspartame—-(which contains methyl alcohol, and well..converts into formaldhehyde, a deadly neurotoxin. so drink a can of diet soda and your basically poisoning yourself and preserving everything including fatty tissues.) STAY AWAY. its in pretty much anything “sugar free.” but i could go on forever.
Anyways Coconut palm sugar is, for now, what I’m using for healthier baking, :)
